School was canceled for Stephen last Thursday because the electricity was messed up in one of the buildings. I thought that was kind of funny that they would cancel school for that, but maybe it was a main building or something.
Anywho, we spent the day together as a family and it was really nice. We took Sam to PetSmart because he loves to look at the fish; not to mention that it was free. It was a nice little outing together.
We are loving our little boy! What a blessing he has been this past year. Having a child is a great way to teach patience among other things.
He'll be 1 in three weeks! I can't believe it! He's mimicking us more and it is quite hilarious. He makes me laugh so much everyday. He opens and closes his mouth when we are talking and lately he has been babbling back! He looks at Stephen and says "Da da" often. He says "Ma ma" but not aimed at me, I'm waiting patiently :)
He waves "hi" and "bye bye" by spinning his wrist in a circle. Stephen calls it his pageant wave.
Having Sam really makes me notice things I say such as "crap" and "hey". I always joked that his first word would be "hey" and believe it or not he says "hey" on a daily basis.
He's got another tooth coming in; the top one. I'm sad about this one because he won't have his gummy smile once it comes through, but I'm sure he'll be just as cute.
Here's a couple of pics of our family and our growing little boy.

Sam is so cute! That would've been so funny if his first word was crap. I like the background by the way!
