15 Weeks

I´m a blog hog today, I know.
I forgot that today was Thursday which is the day I get my weekly preg update.
I´m 15 weeks today! Here´s the scoop on what´s going on this week. I need to post a pic on here, but I probably look pretty similar to the pic from a few weeks back. This little baby is already extremely active, Sam was too. I´ve been able to feel it for a few weeks now, but it´s getting even more noticeable throughout the day. I think this pic is pretty close to actual size.

Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long , crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). He/She's busy moving amniotic fluid through his/her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in his/her lungs begin to develop. His/Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and he/she can move all of his/her joints and limbs. Although his/her eyelids are still fused shut, he/she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, he/she's likely to move away from the beam.
