It is a pretty cool museum, very hands on. I think it would be fun for older kids, Sam wasn't to interested in the exhibits. We did discover a "Room to Grow" section. That was super fun and where we spent the bulk of our time. It was for ages 6 and under and for the most part we were the only ones in there. Sam had a stinkin blast and ignored us pretty much the whole time.

They had a log cabin with a kitchen. Sam had a ton of fun with that. Sam-sized cabinets and counters. He would put the pots on the stove then put the plastic food in the pots, Smartie!
There was another section set up as a dock with a row boat. It had a ramp that Sam ran up and down for, I kid you not, 30 minutes. We could not get the kid to do anything else. They had some pretty comfy chairs, so I planted myself and let him play to his hearts content.

We thought about going to the River Front Park, but we were all tired and hungry. We went to Jason's Deli instead then came home and crashed. Fun family day :)
