She was born Friday, October 9th.
7 pounds, 2 ounces, 19 inches long.
Full head of hair, looked just like her bro Jackson.
She is starting to look more like her momma and my mom too.
She is a beauty for sure!
We were supposed to take pregnancy pictures together this week, but Emery came before we got around to it.
He got a little aggressive. Notice Stephen's hand on Sam's head trying to pull him back. He's a beast when it comes to kissing. He likes to grab my face and kiss me. I'll take it while I can get it though.Sam was really testing my patience today! I emailed Stephen that I was having a bit of a rough morning with him. Not that there was anything he could do about it, but it's always nice to get some encouragement from him. He's usually out in the field, but because of the weather he was in the office today. He came home to my rescue...actually he came home for lunch, but Sam always does better once he's had a midday dose of daddy and so do I.
Steve came home, played with Sam, ate some lunch, and teased me about taking apart the door knobs to the kids rooms and WD-40ing them in hopes that they wouldn't be so loud when I turned them. Whatever, I can be weird if I want too!
Emery, on the other hand, was perfect!! She is such a quiet, sweet little babe! The only time she cried was when she was cold from a diaper change. Poor little thing has a tiny, girly cry, it's so cute. Sam looked concerned and got her paci for her. I love it when little kids do that! How sweet! He also found a burp cloth and laid it on her lap. He tried to give her books too, but I got him to give them to me instead. I didn't want her to end up being smacked around with them.
When she was awake I took some pictures of her. Here's my favorite:

And I figured out how to do the color thingy with my photo editor.I can't tell you what it's called, but I can do it! Love that little bow!
Stephen says I have baby fever.
I actually had that in January...obviously.
