For my own personal records I'm posting some words he's just recently picked up on his own and his way of saying them. They're getting funnier instead of just your typical basic baby vocab.
Go on ahead and skip past this if you don't care, lol.
"wabbles" - apples (LOVE this)
"boooo" - book
"burr" - bird
"kitty" - kitty
"popi" - puppy
"bebe" - baby
"hey" "hiiii" - hey, hi
"nemanem" - M&M (potty treats)
"pee pee/poo poo" - obvious
"pod-dy" - potty
"ctg cheeeez" - cottage cheese
"peasup" - up please (he says it backwards)
"ater" - as in "see you later"
"dank du" - thank you
"dissur" - yes sir (he says this to both of us)
"do do do" - it's a noise he makes for cars and planes
This picture is worth posting along with a story.Sam was helping me make banana muffins. He wanted to hold the stick of butter which was still wrapped. I had to use some, but gave the remaining butter back to him because he was just holding it, wasn't making a mess, and who cares anyways, its just butter. I guess he figured out it was edible because he took a big bite out of it. Notice the teeth marks and the large gap in between.
Lol, love those buck teeth.
Liam will be 6 weeks Friday!
He rolled over from belly to back last Thursday (Dec. 3rd) He did it when he was 4 days old so I thought it was an accident, but obviously the kid is a beast. Crap, if he walks at 5 months I'm really in trouble!
Today I called the hospital billing dept to ask a question about something they sent me. They asked for the patients name and I told her Liam DiGiacomo, spelling the entire thing of course. She gushed over his name saying she looooved it. Made me feel pretty darn good. It's nice that people like what I named my kid. It fits him perfectly.
He is such a good baby. Very chill and easy. He still sleeps in our room. I have no idea when I'm going to move him. Sam still sleeps in the crib and I don't know when I'm going to try a bed again. I'm waiting to do big changes for when Stephen is out of school and we can do it together.
Liam is also thisclose to smiling! I'm gonna die when he does, he's so cute and fuzzy. Aaaaahhhsaldfkjsdlfkjogijsdaks!

On a side note: I am sooooo happy to post that tomorrow is Stephen's final final!!! Woo!! He has a presentation in Little Rock on Friday, but I am so glad he is almost completely finished!! This is semester has been terrible. He is graduating on Saturday with high honors! He deserves it, he worked his butt off this semester.
Also! I am really, really excited that I can safely say that at 21 months Sam is halfway potty trained! It's been 7-8 weeks since he's pooped in his diaper. He goes on the potty every time we put him on. It is so nice not having to change those huge mounds, ugh. I'm fine with newborn poop...toddler poop...yuck.
Stephen has a four day break at the end of the month and it will be go time! I'm planning on stripping that kid naked and having him trained the rest of the way. He is aware when he pees, I don't think he knows that he can tell me he needs to pee, so that's what we'll be working on. I'll keep you updated because I know you want to know about my kids bathroom deposits so bad.

I'm impressed that you're starting to potty train him so early! Cute kids too.
We started putting Sam on the potty when he was 5 months.
What's great about doing it so early is that it is normal for him, so he has no fears. We train our kids to go in their diapers and then have to un-train them from their norm, no wonder kids get freaked out!
Plus he's just so darn cute being little and sitting on that huge potty :D
